Border Crossings: Important Plants from Mexico
January 4, 2018 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
In addition to providing food, drink, medicine, shelter, fuel, and textiles, plants have created social customs and economic empires. Sally will investigate the relationship between people and plants and see that it is as old as humanity itself. Join our Docents in training as we trace our relationship with several plants native to Mexico. Many of these plants can be found right here in the Botanical Center!
This lecture open to the public and is free with admission to the Botanical Center.
