The Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Department is recruiting Providence residents for a Community Working Group which will be a group of diverse community leaders, representing a variety of backgrounds, who will meet 2-3 times per year to consider and discuss matters concerning diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the city of Providence. The Working Group’s feedback and insights will inform and guide the direction and work of the DEIB Department in the areas of DEI education, advocacy, and community relations. The Department is seeking 6-8 community members willing to engage around DEI needs in the community on an ongoing basis. Members would serve for a two-year basis.
