Can’t wait until spring to see wood warblers and tanagers? Curious to learn about bird families from distant lands? Join us as we peruse the Museum’s collection of over 5500 bird specimens. From tropical Sword-billed Hummingbirds to extinct Passenger Pigeons, you can view the wonders of the avian world up close and without the need of your binoculars. Vaults are only accessible by stairs.

Art and Passion in the Museum: The Gifts of Guido Nincheri

Join docent Mike McGinity as we learn about the life and gift of Artist Guido Nincheri. Once called the Michelangelo of Canada, you will learn about his passions and life leading to a new discovery about a little known artist.
Program fee per session: $3 per adult/Free for museum members. Pre-registration required. Capacity is limited. Pets are not permitted on walking tours. Children are not permitted in our lifelong learners programming.
