MNH Homeschool Adventures: Mars Engineering
April 27, 2022 @ 9:30 am - 10:30 am
The rocks and soil of Mars hold many clues to the planet’s history. Families will explore the astonishing robotic spacecraft that are exploring the answers to our questions about Mars and will have to think like NASA engineers in a design challenge to build a soil scoop for testing the rusty Martian soil.
Homeschool Adventures are programs held at the Museum of Natural History and Planetarium for local homeschool families. Small audience workshop programs offered select days each month at 9:30am and 1:30pm. Capacity is limited for safety. Your visit will include a planetarium show or special workshop with a limited number of other homeschool families and time to explore the museum while it is closed to the public.
Program Fee: $25 per family. Family price covers up to 4 guests. Must include at least one adult and not to exceed 4 guests per registration. Pre-registration required. Walk-in registrations on the day of the program are not accepted.
