Ward 11 Decides
Participatory Budgeting Pilot Project
Providence is piloting a participatory budgeting process where community members like you are invited to decide how to spend part of a public budget.
In this process, Ward 11 community members will come together to decide how to spend $6.6 million on public infrastructure projects in an area of upper South Providence.
In the first phase of this process, we’re gathering ideas for infrastructure improvements directly from community members. In future phases, we’ll develop ideas into full proposals and community members will vote for their favorites!
Our first meeting will take place at the Davey Lopes Recreation Center on November 9th from 6:00 - 7:30pm. Please join us, bring your neighbors, and let us know what you think would improve the neighborhood. Click here to RSVP
