The Federal Hill Commerce Association will be hosting its Annual Columbus Day Weekend Festival on historic Federal Hill in Providence, Rhode Island from Oct. 7th through Oct. 9th, 2017. The festival has been recognized as one of the best Columbus Day Festivals to attend, with great food and entertainment.

RISD CRAFT + ALUMNI SALE: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2017 | 10am – 5pm
As the heart of RISD Weekend in October, this annual juried sale features handmade fine art and design work by approximately 120 alumni and students. The work on view speaks to the conceptual integrity, attention to detail and mastery of craftsmanship students learn at RISD and bring to their work throughout their lives. Participants are available throughout the one-day sales exhibition to answer questions and speak with members of the public about their process and practice.

RONALD MACDONALD HOUSE WOMAN’S CLASSIC: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2017 | 10am – 11am
The 10th annual Ronald McDonald House of Providence Women’s Classic will feature 5K and 3K courses from the Brown University Stadium through the scenic and historic East Side of Providence, and finishing in Olympic style on the Brown University Track. All proceeds go to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Providence.

All activities will be at the Brown stadium and parking lot across the street from the JCC. The race starts in front of the JCC on Elmgrove Avenue and ends at the Brown track from Sessions Street.
