*Internet Explorer will not work with the above provided links. Anyone who registers that is not 75+ or a resident of Providence will have their appointment cancelled. In the coming days, additional clinic dates will be added to VaccinatePVD.com.
Residents who need assistance signing up for an appointment are encouraged to dial 3-1-1 to speak with a Mayor’s Center for City Services Representative who can walk them through the enrollment process in English or Spanish. Although additional staff are supporting phone lines, residents should expect longer than normal wait times as MCCS anticipates a higher than normal call volume.
Clinics will adhere to all COVID-19 safety guidelines and best practices. Upon arrival, individuals who enter the clinic will undergo medical screening and will be required to wear a mask. If residents are sick or in quarantine for COVID-19, they are encouraged to stay home and book a new appointment.
This week, the Rhode Island Department of Health provided cities and towns with vaccine allocations to vaccinate the 75 or older population. On Tuesday, the City of Providence contacted residents who identified as 75 or older on a Providence Vaccine Notification List. Additionally, the City began reaching out to partners and organizations throughout the City that support senior services, with a focus of outreach to organizations serving zip codes with higher COVID-19 cases.
For updates regarding the City’s vaccination efforts, all residents are encouraged to join the Providence Vaccine Notification List in English or Spanish, visit the VaccinatePVD website or contact the Mayor’s Center for City Services at City Hall by dialing 3-1-1 or by downloading the PVD311 mobile application now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
