Pilot program aims to expand convenience and accessibility of city services for residents

PROVIDENCE, RI – Mayor Jorge O. Elorza today announced that Providence City Hall will offer extended service hours on the first Wednesday of each month, beginning Wednesday, January 5, 2022, in a pilot program designed to provide greater flexibility, convenience and accessibility for residents in need of city services.
As part of this pilot program, the Vital Records, Licensing, Tax Collector, Tax Assessor, City Clerk, Mayor’s Center for City Services and City Council departments will remain open until 6:30 PM in Providence City Hall, located at 25 Dorrance Street, Providence, RI 02903.
Providence City Hall regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
