How does our energy system impact you?
The Office of Sustainability and the Racial and Environmental Justice Committee would like to understand how energy (heating, cooling, electricity, and transportation) affects your life. Most of the energy we use results in air and climate pollution, which is bad for our health, bad for the environment, and disproportionately affects front-line communities of color. Because of that, the City is trying to lower the amount of polluting energy we use and replace it with cleaner alternatives, all while making Providence a better place to live for everyone.
We anticipate the survey could take anywhere between 15 and 30 minutes. We encourage you to be detailed, thoughtful, and creative in your responses. Think big!
This survey will help inform the development of Providence’s Climate Strategy (#CarbonFreePVD) and was developed in collaboration with One Square World.
