Details announced for return of Food Truck Village and Artisan Markets
PROVIDENCE, RI – Mayor Brett P. Smiley, FirstWorks Executive Director Kathleen Pletcher and Department of Arts, Culture and Tourism Director Joe Wilson Jr. today announced that Faded, a New England vintage clothing market that hosts curators from across the world, will join PVDFest this year to host Faded Village, a vintage marketplace on Saturday, September 7. Additionally, details were announced today for this year’s PVDFest Food Truck Village and Artisan Markets.
Providence’s signature arts festival returns Downtown this September with an exciting lineup of main stage performers and an array of highlights that promise to captivate attendees. This year’s festival, set to take place on September 6 and 7, with a rain date of September 8, will transform Downtown Providence into a dynamic hub of creativity, community and celebration. Today’s announcements offer a sneak peek of all that is planned for this year’s festival, with additional announcements slated throughout the summer.

Faded Village will be held in Biltmore Park on Saturday, September 7 from 12:00 – 8:00 pm and feature 8 vintage vendors with unique clothing and exciting festival styles. A wide selection of Providence-designed t-shirts will also be for sale.

This year’s festival will also bring numerous artisan markets back Downtown, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of local artisans and makers. This year’s artisan market lineup includes the Haus of Codec Market by GEM Marley, BLKMRT by Lauren Case, PVDFest Market X Juicy Market and more.
In addition to exciting markets, PVDFest is also delighted to share a delicious lineup of food trucks that will be serving a variety of culinary delights on Friday and Saturday. Festival attendees can look forward to savoring an array of flavors from local favorites to international cuisine. The food trucks will offer something for everyone, including Angkor Boba Tea House, Atomic Blonde Ice Cream, Axelrods Fry Shack, BerrySweets, Big Dog Eats, Binge BBQ, Blount Clam Shack, Chicked Out Nuggz, Cultro, Del’s Lemonade, Friskie Fries, Hometown Poke, Ja Patty RI, Kona Ice, La Guaguita del Sabor, Matilda, Poppin Minis, Rara’s Surf Shack, The Burrito Bowl, The Daily Grind, The Rolling Italian, Turner Bros, Yagi Food Truck, and more.
