Rosa E. Arias-Perry joined the City Solicitor’s Office in February of 2018. In July of 2019, she was appointed by Mayor Elorza to serve as the City’s Municipal Integrity Officer (MIO). As the city’s MIO, her primary focus is to encourage officials and employees of the city to act in an ethical manner. Prior to joining the city, Rosa worked in private practice in the area of immigration law. She has extensive legal experience in removal-defense and family-based immigration. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and is fluent in Spanish and English.
Rosa graduated cum laude from the University of Rhode Island, where she earned her Bachelors in Psychology. She earned her law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law. During her law school career, she served as a judicial intern for the Honorable O. Rogeriee Thompson at the Rhode Island Superior Court.
On her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She also enjoys providing legal guidance and advice to individuals in immigration proceedings.
