PROVIDENCE, RI – Mayor Brett P. Smiley, the City of Providence Department of Art, Culture and Tourism and the Providence Tourism Council are pleased to announce the City’s annual Independence Day Celebration will be held at India Point Park on Wednesday, July 2, beginning at 5:30 pm.
“I am thrilled to welcome everyone back to India Point Park for our Fourth of July Celebration,” said Mayor Brett Smiley. “This year’s event is significant as it marks the first celebration since the park’s exciting new renovations, including revitalized gathering spaces, improved walkways and enhanced waterfront access, making this iconic destination more accessible and resilient than ever.
