Museum admission (does not include the Planetarium) is $2/ Museum Members Free/Free for children under age 4. Free museum admission first Saturday of the month for City of Providence residents. Museum closed December 24, 25, 31 and January 1. Museum closing at 1pm, last admission at 12:30pm on January 5, February 2, March 2, April 6 and May 4 for Drawing Wild. Museum opens at 12pm on Saturday, January 24 for Cub Scouts Space Exploration.
When visiting: The use of strollers is discouraged and strollers need to be carried/lifted to enter and exit the museum.
Sky Views Planetarium Show: 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays, December 6, 7, 13, 14.
Journey to the Planetarium Show: 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays, December 20, 21, 27, 28.
Planetarium show ticket (includes museum admission) is $5/ Museum Members Free. EVERYONE ATTENDING THE PLANETARIUM SHOW NEEDS A TICKET. Children must be age 4 and older to attend a planetarium show. Children age 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the show start time to check-in for the planetarium show. FOR SAFETY REASONS, TICKETHOLDERS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO ENTER THE PLANETARIUM ONCE THE SHOW HAS BEGUN and there is no late entry into the Planetarium once the doors are closed. Planetarium show is 30 minutes. Planetarium show tickets must be purchased ONLINE. Museum Members must also reserve their tickets ONLINE. Choose carefully and then confirm your selection, as all selections/sales are final. Free planetarium show ticket first Saturday of the month for City of Providence residents. Please bring proof of Providence residency. MUST RESERVE ONLINE.
PLEASE NOTE: For Museum Member reservations, you must be a CURRENT Museum Member, does not include RWP Zoo Members. If you are not a current Museum Member, all planetarium show tickets and admissions will be cancelled.
