School Group Field Trips
Planetarium Program
(for school groups only)
- Availability: September through June, excluding school vacations.
- Program duration: 1 hour
- Available reservation times: 9:30am, 10:00am, 10:30am and 11:30am
- Program includes: Introductory discussion and activity
- Program fee: $100 for up to 25 students; $4.00 for each additional student; $4.00 per chaperone. Teachers are free.
- Group size: Minimum of 15 students of the same grade; maximum of 50 students per planetarium show, or up to 100 students when paired with a hands-on science workshop. The combined workshop and planetarium program is approximately 2 hours.
- Chaperone requirement: Minimum of 1 adult (teacher or parent/guardian chaperone) for every 7 students, with a maximum of 1 adult (ages 18+) for every 5 students. Planetarium seating capacity is 60.
- Museum visit: An additional $1.00 per person.

Hands-on Science Workshop

- Program fee: $175 for up to 25 students; $7.00 for each additional student; $4.00 per chaperone. Teachers are free.
- Group size: Minimum of 15 students of the same grade; maximum of 50 students, or up to 100 students when paired with both programs.
- Chaperone requirement: Minimum of 1 adult (teacher or parent/guardian chaperone) for every 7 students, with a maximum of 1 adult (ages 18+) for every 5 students. Planetarium seating capacity is 60.
- Museum visit: An additional $1.00 per person.

Other Groups
Private Museum Visit
- Program includes: Tour the self-guided galleries as a group and complete a museum quest throughout the museum.
- Program duration: Approximately 35 minutes
- Program fee: $2 per person (does not include a planetarium show)
- Chaperone requirement: Minimum of 1 adult (ages 18+) for every 10 children.
Private Planetarium Program
- A private planetarium show for your group.
- Program duration: 35–40 minutes
- Age requirement: Children must be age 4 or older to attend.
- Available reservation times: 9:30am, 10:00am, 10:30am, 11:00am and 11:30am
- Program fee: $150 for up to 25 people; $6.00 for each additional person.
- Museum visit: An additional $1.00 per person.
- Chaperone requirement: Minimum of 1 adult (ages 18+) for every 10 children.
- Seating capacity: Maximum of 60 people in the planetarium.
