History

Deeded to the City in the early 1990’s, a small Tot Lot with unique and colorful play sculptures for younger children- and an unmistakable photo opportunity for their caregivers. Can you name all 5 animals? The main play structure features a “Home & Rescue” theme – half play house, half play vehicle – encouraging imaginative storylines. It allows for various points of access to the activity panels, a curved rock climber, corkscrew pole, and slide. There are two benches and two trees that provide wonderful fall color. The park is located approximately 500ft south of Cranston St.

Recent Improvements

  • New fence was installed in April 2024.
  • Playground renovated in August 2019 with a play structure replacing an old swing set, while maintaining the park’s original sculptural animals.
