History

The park, deeded to the City in 1913, has remained open space while seeing significant changes through the years. In the 1950’s, the school, pool, and baseball diamond were built. Only the recently renovated school remains from the original layout, although many more amenities have been added since then. A lap around the perimeter walking path connecting all park amenities measures approximately one quarter mile.
