Providence Parks
Paul Grande Park
History
The park land was deeded to the city in 1921. The park is dedicated to Silver Lake community leader Paul Grande, Jr. Formerly named for Corporal Silvio J. Russo who died in World War II. His memorial at the corner of the Daniel Ave and Ethan St was rededicated in 1998.
Just before the 2024 renovations, the park was used as a filming location for a major motion picture. One piece of classic playground equipment remains that was seen in that film. Can you guess which one?
