History

Once a series of abandoned lots, Peace & Plenty Park was deeded to the city in 1999-2000 and later expanded westward along Peace St in 2016. The current playground equipment was a community build in 2008, and later natural play elements like grassy berms and young tree groves, picnic tables, and a little library were added. A community garden also stands across the street from the playground.
