Museum admission (does not include the Planetarium) is $2 | Museum Members Free | Free for children under age 4. City of Providence residents receive free museum admission with proof of residency on the first Saturday of every month, or on the following Saturday when the first Saturday falls on a holiday.

When visiting: The museum is equipped with a LULA (limited use/limited application) elevator that is 52″ long by 34″ wide. If you have accessibility questions, please contact the Museum. Service animals for all disabilities as outlined by the ADA standards are welcome at the Museum. Pets, emotional support and therapy animals are not allowed for the safety and well-being of our visitors as well as Museum Collections. Audience: General (Children under age 4 are not permitted to attend planetarium shows.)
Cost: $5 (includes Museum admission) | Museum Members: Free | Free first Saturday for Providence residents, or on the following Saturday when the first Saturday falls on a holiday, with proof of residency. Providence residents can reserve planetarium show tickets in person. Tickets are subject to availability at the time of reservation. Please note: Groups of 15 or more must call in advance to schedule a private planetarium show, as large groups cannot be accommodated during public showtimes. Private planetarium shows are subject to availability. Private Planetarium shows and school field trip programs are available-Please email the Museum’s Education Department for more information.

Tickets are recommended to be reserved online, including for Museum Members. Availability is limited. All sales are final.
Everyone attending the planetarium show needs a ticket.
Children must be 4 years of age or older to attend planetarium shows. Children ages 4–15 must be accompanied by an adult and supervised at all times.
Phones must be silenced, and attendees should remain quiet during the show to help everyone enjoy the full experience.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in, as doors close at showtime and will not reopen—no late entry is permitted for visitor safety once the show begins.
PLEASE NOTE: For Museum Member reservations, you must be a CURRENT Museum Member, does not include RWP Zoo Members. If you are not a current Museum Member, all planetarium show tickets and admissions will be CANCELLED.
